Laura is proud to have steered large projects that keep New Yorkers safer, healthier, and happier through all seasons and epochs. Her passion is projects that look impossible, solving translation gaps, and documents that seem too long. Laura devotes her spare time pro bono to Simon’s Rock Village because the college is her true alma mater and first love.

She holds an A.A. from Simon’s Rock, a B.A. from Sarah Lawrence College and a Master’s degree from George Mason University, as well as graduate coursework in public administration and health.

Laura is a former writing professor, writing tutor, and Founding Director of Amasulire Translations LLC. She serves as Deputy Director of a New York State governmental agency and has over 25 years of experience directing complex projects for the New York State government.

She is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Business Analyst Professional (CBAP), and teaches project management best practices.
