Chad Klapes

Simon's Rock Village Committee

Chad is a Simon's Rock Great Barrington Alum from the mid 80s who subsequently made Berkshire County his home.

His community engagement has spanned from involvement in the early co-operation of the 2000 - 2003 Great Barrington Catholic Workers weekly kitchen and pantry (The Breaking Bread Kitchen), having helped facilitate a Community Conversations public meeting for both community organizers and townspeople in Great Barrington in the immediate aftermath of Sept 11, and having served in some early committees of the Great Barrington low power community radio station (WBCR-LP).

Currently, he enjoys serving in several ministries as a parishioner of his local Parish and collaboratively web developing for not for profits, artisans, and small business.
